Wagwan I am Ciara Pierre-Louis, the creator of Déjà Void. I am a 19 year old Haitian-Honduran-American, from Brooklyn, NewYork.

Growing up in a multicultural household, I was always taught to be proud of where I come from. Revolutionaries, great food and music, and family.

The mission of this brand is for more faces around the neighborhood to be represented.

Déjà- Already or previously

Void- Empty space or feeling of emptiness

Déjà Void represents this familiar emptiness in space that people of color experiencehroughout time, throughout space, throughout dimensions there are beings similarly to people of colot around the world who will not fully be understood. It's not society's job to understand. Society may learn, steal and disagree but will never understand what our lens truly is.

Each product in this collection can all be interpreted in different ways but they all have a shared understanding of the experience of colored people in the world. Other people cannot wear our skin naturally or comfortably so I created Déjà Void, a skin for us to have.
